By now you've heard the news that FFXIII is no longer exclusive to PS3. If you haven't, then you are apparently the only person in the world without access to the internet.

I’m sure you, like every other Square-Enix fanboy, is freaking out and feel as though world is upside down but lets not forget Square has done this before with Nintendo.

Anyone knows that if a girl will cheat on someone with you there is a good chance they will do it again. Odds are, she loves you, she's just not IN love with you. But don’t worry Sony you can till be friends! Just look at Nintendo, it took a few years of heartbreak but they got over it and now sometimes hangout with Square.

After a messy breakup you have to look to the bright side (yes fanboys there is a bright side). Square-Enix (SE) is now working tightly with a more U.S. centric console and western hemisphere company. With this new partnership we could see…

  • Less Japanese only releases and more Square games showing up on western shores (something like Kingdom Hearts III: final mix)
  • Quicker release dates in the U.S.
  • More online features in U.S. versions that usually get cut by the time games get released over here

So see? There is a silver lining to everything, put the gun down and relax.
